His name is Scott La Pointe, 23 years old, and
has been playing music for over 12 years. His music is rock and pop, but also has hints of folk and country. He writes his
own original songs, but is not afraid to also through in some covers as well by some of rock's greatest artists.
Scott Edward-Allen La Pointe was born in Dawson Creek, BC, Canada in 1984, and from an early age developed
a great love of classic rock music by listening to many of his dad's old records. He moved to Prince George in 1996. He first
started playing music in 1994 by taking piano lessons, and started singing and playing the guitar at the age of 13, also teaching
himself drums and bass during band class in high school, but guitar will always be his main instrument. He started writing
his own songs in 2000, and started playing live a few years after that. He has played a lot of different events
around Prince George, such as Canada Day, the Cancer Relay, and ALS Walk; and played gigs in places such as the Generator,
the Ironhorse, and Nelly's Pub. As well, he has played in various bands in Prince George, such as the "NIGHT OWLS", "HOME
BREW", and "97 NORTH", a classic rock and country cover band that plays dances. A 4 song, self -titled demo cd is available
at any of his live performances that he appears at, for $7.00. Lastly, some of his musical influences are The Beatles,
CCR, Bryan Adams and Cat Stevens.
